Dr. Eric Pressly, PhD, one of the inventors of Olaplex and founder of Epres hair care (also our client), hired SSP to launch his new nail bond treatment and technology after years of R&D. This was his brand’s first major launch in years, and he made the switch to ssp to ensure he had the right team to deep dive and prioritize the launch.

We started with an audit and rewrite of the product’s marketing and web copy, developing stronger messaging around Dr. Pressly’s patented “Biodiffusion Technology” that clearly explained the science, clean ingredients and the immediate benefits to nail strength and health. We built deep fandom with dozens of top celebrity manicurists, ensuring they always have ePhD in their kits and utilizing them with media and for red carpet opportunities with celebrities like Rihanna, Sarah Paulson and Ana de Arnas.

In less than a year, we secured a groundswell of media coverage resulting in almost 700m impressions, a high-profile appearance on The Today Show, and more than seven beauty awards, as well as a coveted spot on Time’s “Best Inventions of 2025” list.
